
Congratulations to the SHS Football Team for wining Friday @ Vian 38-35. The team finished second in the district and will host Heavener on Friday Nov 10th @ 7PM


Rylan Nofire represented Tahlequah Sequoyah at the Meet of Champions today. At this race, the All State runners from each class compete against each other to see who will compete in the Oklahoma/Arkansas duo meet. Rylan finished 11th overall with a time of 16:50 and he will be representing Oklahoma in next week's race. Congrats Rylan!!!



Join us for different evenings of crafts! All events are hosted by Sequoyah Alumni and will be in the Sequoyah High School library. Space is very limited and must be registered to attend. Monday night was our first Stories of Sequoyah and it was fantastic!! The event was led by Mr. Don Franklin and hosted by the Student Council. Mr. Franklin told stories from Sequoyah's rich past as the participants toured the campus.

Sequoyah High School's HOPE Club has a full month of activities planned for Native American Heritage Month. QR codes will be placed throughout the school each highlighting the different activities.


Despite the rain and cold, Rylan Nofire became a two timer All Stater yesterday at the Class 3A State meet in Edmond. Rylan, a junior, placed 8th with a time of 16:47. This is the 96th All-Stater for Coach Sam Horsechief.
Margaret Poahway will also be recognized as Senior All Star, which is the top 15 finishing seniors in the State race. Congrats to both the girls and boys team on a great season!


Senior Night ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm tonight, Oct. 27. Seniors and escorts need to be on the visitor sideline at 6:20 pm to line up.

Sequoyah High School and OBI blood drive is November 8th! Be sure and sign up at school or online.


SHS 9th grade Football Game against Lincoln Christian on Tuesday October 24th has been cancelled.

Red Ribbon Week starts tomorrow, Monday, Oct. 23! Be sure and wear red on Monday!
